Pascal Pénicaud

Pascal is a well recognised leader in the French renewable market. He has unique experience in the management of large-scale renewable energy projects as former managing director of Tenergie, the 2nd largest solar independent power producer in France. During his tenure the company developed over 1GW of projects with over Euro 2 billion of financing secured.

Elaine Wong

Elaine is the Co-Founder and Partner of Hydrogen Capital Partners, and HAO Capital based in Hong Kong. She has over 20 years of private equity experience in the US and Asia, and is the primary board representative from HAO Capital to its portfolio companies. She is actively involved in strategy formulation and implementation, business development, and capital market transactions. Prior to co-founding HAO Capital in 2006, Ms. Wong was a member of the Carlyle Group US Venture Partners and the Carlyle Group Asia Growth Equity partnership.

Patrick Molloy

Patrick Molloy is a Senior Associate, Industry And Heavy Transport at Rocky Mountain Institute and a recognized analyst and commentator on Hydrogen applications for Heavy Industries. He has been broadly published in the clean energy media and currently co-hosts the Everything about Hydrogen podcast. Prior to working in energy Patrick worked in Irish and European politics. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies

Dr Enass Abo-Hamed

Enass is the co-founder and CEO at H2GO power ltd; an award-winning spin-out company from the University of Cambridge developing energy storage technologies. She completed her PhD at Cambridge University, where she also was a postdoctoral fellow and elected Cambridge University Energy Champion. Currently she is also a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow and a technology expert consultant to European Commission (REA) .

She has 10 years of research and business experience in hydrogen production & storage, catalysis, renewable energy and energy storage. Enass won the visionary of the year award by MIT Tech Review Innovators Under 35 Europe, the best energy start-up award at the Global Hello Tomorrow Summit and others. In 2015, she was selected by the Cartier women’s initiative awards as one in 18 best women entrepreneurs globally.

Mark Henderson

Mark is a highly experienced infrastructure finance investment banker, with particular experience in the renewable energy, sustainability and power sectors. He is currently the Chief Investment Officer of GridServe, the first UK developer of subsidy free Solar PV and battery storage projects. Internationally experienced, in both emerging markets and western Europe, where he has advised on, structured and financed over £1 billion and 3,000MW of infrastructure energy projects. Mark established and ran the mezzanine lending team for power and renewables at Investec and the cleantech & renewables sector for private equity firm LDC. Currently chair of the board of trustees and the investment committee for Pure Leapfrog, a community energy charity that provides funding and professional support for low carbon, high social impact projects. Mark is a well-known member of the London clean energy community and regular conference speaker, Mark has also been invited to write and contribute articles to a number of specialist financial publications.

Emma Tinker

Emma co-founded Asper in 2016 with Luigi and Luis, with whom she had worked at HgCapital since 2008. Emma has worked in investment since 1999 and in the energy sector since 2002. During her tenure at Hg she started the renewable energy business that eventually led to the raising of Hg’s renewable funds alongside Tom Murley in 2003. Emma is responsible for Asper’s investment strategy and is Chair of the Investment Committee. She leads the origination and strategic business planning on existing platforms and new investments. Over the years she has led and managed investments, financings and exits in different markets and technologies in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Italy.
