Two specialist UK based energy companies join forces to bring UK horticulture to net zero

Protium Green Solutions, the UK-based green hydrogen project developer, are delighted to announce they will be working with CambridgeHOK, the UK’s most advanced horticultural engineering and construction company.
Founded in 1955, Cambridge HOK specialise in vertical farming, glass houses and energy for some of the biggest names in UK horticulture. Having recently signed Head of Terms with Protium, this agreement serves as an exciting opportunity to supply UK-based horticultural companies with green hydrogen energy solutions. This collaboration will see Protium and Cambridge HOK work together to fast track the decarbonisation of the horticultural sector in the UK.
An exciting milestone for Protium, the Heads of Terms signing brings the company into a new sector, one with exceedingly high demand for green energy solutions, as well as an appetite for innovative technology. Protium’s key roles within the collaboration will be to support horticultural clients transition to zero emission solutions, notably green hydrogen, through developing projects with Cambridge HOK to provide clean energy under their HESCO model.
